This knife arrived in perfect condition in a S&W box inside a way bigger box with an air bag. The spring action is a little tough out of the box, but adding a little oil fixes it. The blade comes sharp, and a few passes in the stone makes it razor sharp. It does hold the edge, and the metal is stainless, but it is strong and not trash like other stainless. The grip is great, and everything was solid. The grip did have one loose screw that fell out, but tightened it, so if you order it make sure you tighten the screws on the handle, but not the big one on the spring action. I recommend this knife, so buy it.

everything about this knife is great, besides the safety lock. it does work, but if you really try (or you really have a beer or two in you) the thing just doesnt work. you can still pop open the knife with the safety on if you push hard enough on the knife release.
the safety does make it pretty much impossible to accidentally open it... it does do its job for the most part, but just today i tried putting the knife in its holster with the safety on and it came open and cut my thumb. it didnt hurt, the knife cuts so clean that you cannot feel it... but there was blood on the concrete. i admit i was drinking so its partially my fault... but still, the knife opens with the safety on and i can repeat that problem at will. just give the release a good hard tug and the blade with pop out halfway.
everything else about the knife is awesome... and really you dont need the safety but like i said, if you think you can rely on it you will be cut. but other then that, its hard to say anything bad. it pops open with a nice force to it. it stays open very rigidly and solid. the blade is extremely sharp and the serrated teeth is a great feature (wire stripping, wood branches). it also looks crazy good, just a solid knife all around beside the safety.
also, its made in Taiwan. it is not made in usa. that was also a disappointment, but it is still an easy 4/5 knife.

I got this knife as another pocket knife because I was bored of my other one. I had a big old Frost Cutlery knife and everyone always compared it to a switchblade, so I decided to get a switchblade. I've had it for a month, and it's fantastic. Definitely get this knife.

my husband loves this knife... this is the second one that i have bought him. the assisted opening works fabulous, and it is well worth the low price!

I collect Smith & Wesson knives. This knife demonstrates the quality and design at a reasonable price which I appreciate and keeps me coming back.
