very nice knife. August 6, 2010 Ralph Stone Jr. I really like this knife. It was very sharp right out of the box. I like the non-slip handle. don't think I'll need the bottle opener n this day/age. What I dislike about it most is the blade lock/release. It seems difficult to open as quick as I'd like, but its not terrible when u get use to it.
Buck Pocket Knife June 14, 2010 Russell N. Guyer (Virginia Beach, VA) Excellent knife. It was a replacement for a cheap knife that the blade locking wore out. I like the non-slip handle and it is extremely easy to open with one hand. Very sharp out of the box.
Excellent opening closing action, but durability is something to be desired June 14, 2010 N. Lownes 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I really like the button/roller combo to open. Unfortunately, I use this a knife a lot - it only took about three weeks before the plastic button popped out. After epoxying it back into place it worked like a charm until it fell out again.
If you need something durable, I can't recommend this. I guess you get what you pay for.
Overall Best Choice June 8, 2010 Webgenie (CA USA) I've only had this knife for a couple of weeks, but I love it. The video helped convince me to buy it. I am very safety-conscious, and the design of this tool is very intelligent and makes it a safe choice. I find the design intuitive, and though I am not left-handed, I had to try it out that way since one reviewer said it was for righties. I could open and close it with my left hand, and I am not the most coordinated person even ideally. For those like me, who do not have long experience in knife handling, I'd say remember to get your fingers out of the way when closing this knife. I had no problem, but if you are new to a knife, you can make painful errors.
This is an everyday utility knife, feels like it was made for me, intuitive and comfortable to hold and use. I haven't used the bottle opener. The reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is that I am unsure of the durability of the "Redpoint" lock button, and that is a high priority feature in this knife. I am so pleased with this knife that I carry it with me all the time, either in my pocket, clipped on my waistband/belt or in my purse. I got the platinum color for its understatement, and it is very nice and quiet.
Cool knife April 22, 2010 Scott McBride (Florida) This is a very cool knife that opens differently than most. If you like knives you'll like the Buck 750 Redpoint.
