| Customer Reviews: Survival Knife?!? August 26, 2010 Chairforce Bought this knife intending to take it along when I went camping. As with most knives you will need to sharpen this blade, the edge does stay on nicely though.
Only major issue is the serration on the back side of the blade. You have to put this knife into the sheath in a the correct orientation or you will rip the nylon up when you pull the knife out.
The striker seems to be a decent quality, have not had a problem getting a spark.
Over all, a good knife for the price.
OK for the price July 7, 2010 G. Gillas 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I re-wrapped the handle on mine and found the blade extremely dull as well. The case is not stiff at all which leads to the knife getting caught while inserting and removing from case. Also, the nylon on the case was very slightly frayed in places when it arrived which I simply repaired with a lighter. Still, this knife is inexpensive and lighter than other knives it's size.
Another inexpensive but good knife, great back up February 1, 2010 buffalo1a (OR, USA) 19 out of 19 found this review helpful
Good little full tang knife , duller than dull you will spend sometime sharpening it, but is a decent knife for price. You will want to rewrap the handle with your own para cord.
